Ivy Lea Campground

This campground is located in the Thousand Islands, in the midst of the foliage and granite of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve. Ivy Lea has 146 campsites and 4 Camper Cabins ready for your use! Visitors can also enjoy the nearby beaches, boat launch facilities, swimming, picnic areas, and playgrounds.

It’s a great spot if you’re interested in scuba diving, boating, or discovering the many luxurious cottage estates in both Canada and the USA. Nearby tourist sites include the national historical site Fort Henry and the beautiful Boldt Castle.

Glengarry Campground

Glengarry Campground is named after Glengarry County in honour of the Scottish immigrants who settled in this area. The campground is located less than an hour west of Montreal on the beautiful Lake St. Francis on the St. Lawrence. Come enjoy the far-off site of the Adirondack Mountains across the river from you own campsite!

183 campsites, a sandy beach, and boat launch facilities are ready for your use. Glengarry Campground is also a fantastic place for fishing – it’s actually known to have some of the best bass and carp fishing in the world!

Long Sault Parkway Campgrounds

The scenic Long Sault Parkway is made up of a series of 11 islands formed from high points of land left after the flooding of the St. Lawrence River in 1958. Several villages, known as the “Lost Villages” lie submerged under the river. You can learn more about the fascinating story of these towns in the Lost Villages display on Macdonell Island.

Long Sault Parkway Campgrounds are compromised of 3 campgrounds: Mille Roches, Woodlands, and McLaren. Visitors can enjoy picturesque beach and picnic areas at Mille Roches Beach and Woodlands Beach.

Farran Park Campground & Day Use

Farran Park Campground is located on a peaceful peninsula on the St. Lawrence River near Ingleside. Comprised of 210 campsites and 46 Full Service Sites, every campsite boasts of superb river views. Farran Park’s beach has a wide sandbank, great for sunbathing and picnics. A playground for the kids is nearby.

Farran Park is in a great location, just down the road from Upper Canada Village and Upper Canada Golf Course. It also has easy quick access to the Waterfront Cycling Trail. 

Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary Campground

Established in 1961, the Bird Sanctuary Campground is made up of 69 campsites and 5 group campgrounds. Come enjoy the Visitor Interpretive Center and take in the displays and themed merchandise.

This campground is a nature lover’s dream. You’ll have easy access to 8 kilometers of self-guided hiking trails on either the Cedar Trail, Maple Trail, and Red-wing Trail. Visitors will be awed by the abundant plant life, wildlife, and over 150 bird species in the area. The Sanctuary’s Morrison Island has the best carp fishing in the world, enjoyed by anglers from all around the globe.

Riverside-Cedar Campground

Riverside-Cedar is the largest campground out of the 8 Parks of the St. Lawrence campgrounds. With 301 campsites and five cabins, this campground is conveniently located on shores of the St. Lawrence River near Upper Canada Village and Crysler Farm Battlefield.

The location is convenient but also beautiful. The cabins are placed around a gorgeous inlet, perfect for canoeing and fishing. You can also enjoy an unobstructed view of big ships sailing down the St. Lawrence Seaway on the way to the ocean or the Great Lakes right from your campsite!

Crysler Park Marina

If you’re interested in camping and boating, Crysler Park Marina is the perfect destination for you! Offering spacious sites with waterfront cabins, the Marina also has a multitude of watersports, paddling rentals, great fishing, and fantastic cycling trails along St. Lawrence River.

It’s also near to the McIntosh Country Inn – a great place if you want to exchange a night of camping for some delicious food and charming accommodation.

Parks of the St. Lawrence Waterfront Cycling Trail

The Waterfront Trail is a cycling trail like no other! Enjoy 80 kilometres of paved and gravel paths, winding through trees, over bridges, and along the shores of St. Lawrence River. The Thousand Island Parkway section boasts 45 km of paved paths and scenic views. The Morrisburg to Cornwall trail leads you along the Long Sault Parkway, by Crysler Park Marina, Upper Canada Village and passes by Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary.
